CrossFit Classes in Montreal

MFO crossfit class imageMFO crossfit classes offered at MFO Training are of high intensity (CrossFit Style) for athletes of all levels. Our gym is located in downtown Montreal, where we have access to some of the most knowledgeable coaches and training equipment.

 

What is a typical workout?

There is no typical workout, as each day is something completely new and different.

Our workouts utilize the CrossFit methodology; functional movements such as  pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running, etc. So a workout may consist of a combination of movements like sprinting, rowing, weightlifting, jumping rope, climbing ropes, flipping tires, and carrying odd objects; we use bar-bells, dumb-bells, gymnastics rings, pull-up bars, kettle-bells, medicine balls, boxes for box jumps, and many body-weight exercises.

 

What can I expect in a class?

MFO crossfit class image 2All group classes are one hour long and most are comprised of 4 segments – warm up, technical skill development, workout of the day and core. We maintain a small group size for these classes allowing the coach to pay attention to every student, ensuring proper form and safety. Please visit our schedule to sign up for a class.

Our fitness program is designed by the head coach and owner, Mizar Fuentes-Ortega. His training approach is based upon the OPEX methodology, which was created by James Fitzgerald (CrossFit Games Champion 2007). All workouts are scalable to suit your fitness level and we can work around any limitation/injury that you might have. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete, these classes will push you to your limits!
